Job Description

Reporting to the CEO, this role will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and guidance to REC’s human resources department. This role will involve overseeing the full spectrum of the HR function, including talent acquisition and management, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, HRIS, payroll, HR policies and procedures, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The coverage includes Singapore as well offices as in other regions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute HR strategies that align with REC’s mission, vision, and goals, fostering a culture of innovation, sustainability, and excellence.
  • Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to the HR team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality HR services and support throughout the organization.
  • Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top talents.
  • Establish and oversee performance management programs to drive individual and team performance, setting clear goals and providing ongoing feedback and coaching.
  • Collaborate closely with the CEO, Senior Management Team and department heads to align HR initiatives with business objectives, ensuring HR's proactive support in achieving key milestones and project deadlines.
  • Drive employee development initiatives, including training programs that enhance technical skills, industry knowledge, and sustainability practices.
  • Develop and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs, ensuring alignment with industry standards and solar industry-specific job roles.
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations, develop and update HR policies and procedures in Singapore as well as offices in overseas locations.
  • Foster a positive work environment, promoting employee engagement, diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives throughout the organization.
  • Lead organizational change management initiatives, effectively managing workforce transitions, project expansions, or other business developments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is an added advantage.
  • Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role, preferably with international experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations of Singapore and other regions.
  • Working experience in a manufacturing industry will be an added advantage
  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to align HR initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and organizational development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing HR team.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Proven experience in driving and managing change initiatives within a complex organization
