Research & Development Engineer
Our skilled and world-class Research & Development engineering team designs, develops and implements state of the art measurement solutions which help athletes reach their full potential. As an R&D Engineer, you will work closely with our computer vision, signal processing, software and hardware engineers to work on product evolution as well as support existing products. This role requires a highly versatile skill set and you will have opportunities to contribute in all relevant domains. Your responsibilities will include development and enhancing of new and existing products.
Responsibilities
- Work with embedded systems engineers to optimize code & algorithms on ARM MCUs
- Collaborate with firmware and algorithm engineers for product validation.
- Assist in designing and developing manual and automated tests for software and product validation.
- Develop embedded software applications on STM32 MCUs and Linux OS based ARM Application processors.
- Develop test cases and programs for automated testing
- Testing software for custom hardware devices and ensure it works as expected with given design.
- Debug source of bugs based on customer complaints.
- Ensure quality of a product.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma/Bachelors in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields.
- 0-2 years of experience in software and product testing.
- Programming skills and experience in C/C++ and Python.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Critical thinking skills with detail-oriented mindset.
- Understanding of QA, with knowledge in designing and executing tests, reproducing bugs, a plus.
- Insight into the quality issues in the product life cycle a plus
- A pro-active, organized & meticulous person who is able to work independently under a fast-paced environment.
- Strong aptitude to learn and contribute.
