Who are we:
Quest is a request-based Peer-to-Peer platform where users can seek help from others for timely, cost-competitive services, and simultaneously offer their services through the app.
In addition to benefiting the service seeker, the platform also aims to help freelancers reach out to more leads and increase income opportunities without the worries of safety or payments.
Quest is a government and university-backed start-up supported by Enterprise Singapore, National Youth Council, SMU's Business Innovations Generator (BIG) by IIE, and has garnered over 1,000 users on our testbed telegram channel within 2 months of operations.
Software Engineer Intern (Summer / Part-time)
Job Summary:
We’re looking for passionate Software Engineer Interns to join our squad in the next couple of months. You will gain first-hand experience on responding quickly to user feedback and making quick improvements to the app. At the same time, you will get the chance to think critically and learn how best to structure data for your business needs. If you want to learn, thrive and become a better engineer, we would love to have you over for a chat over coffee!
With an aim to launch by 1st June, this is an amazing opportunity for you to contribute at such an exciting period in the product development!
What you will be doing:
- Write clean, testable, scalable and maintainable code with Flutter
- Learn from user feedback, respond, and push changes quickly
- Work closely with Product and UX/UI to design, build and extend the platform and its features.
- Monitor the performance of the app and continuously improve them on both code and experience level.
What we are looking for:
- Passionate about software development, problem-solving and technical challenge.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-paced environment.
- Specific technical skills or languages are not required but strong programming skills and hunger to learn are.
- You have shown initiatives in the past with projects in mobile developments.
