Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic, energetic intern who is eager to learn about our company and able to contribute by working on project designated. To be successful as an intern, you should be willing to help with business focus tasks/project assigned and guided by a supervisor. 

 

  • Understands the overall company Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental policy and objective. This is done through onboarding orientation provided by HR and QHSE Manager.
  • Rotates through various departments to understand the organization structure.
  • Accepts designated, business-focus projects to propose ideas and solutions, and present final project during the internship.
  • Work closely with Head of Department and project team.
  • Develop training materials and provide training to the personnel involved in the project or process changed. 
  • Develop Department’s Work Instruction or design visual aids.
  • Monitor and present the as-is and to-be process (before and after change in process).
  • Application of various problem solving techniques, example Fish Bone Diagram – cause and effect; Flowchart; 5-Why method; etc.

Requirements and qualifications

Final year student from Polytechnics or ITE, pursuing Mechanical Engineering or related engineering studies

Strong written, verbal, analytical, well organized and presentation skills. 

Have a desire to learn.

Proficient in Microsoft Office.
