We specialise in design and manufacturing of Process Analytical Systems, injection pump skids and off-shore sampling systems and chemical injection systems.

Job Description

Job Purpose:

The Engineer is responsible for project execution, engineering, schedule and budget control and overseeing commissioning activities. The job holder conducts planning, focused reviews, inspections, site-visits if necessary, and testing to validate the quality, safety and reliability of system solutions.

Key Roles

1. Plan and Design

  • Define the project time-line and budget, specifications, and objectives after studying the product design and or system solutions, customer requirements, performance standards, and technical studies reports and prepare cost estimates.
  • Perform and review system design calculations and specifications.
  • Validate detailed designs including schematics, technical specifications, test plans, and material requisition
  • Manage timely submission of project drawings/documentation according to vendor print schedule

2. Develop and Execute

  • Supervise analyzer and instrumentation work during fabrication and assembly
  • Prepare FAT and SAT if required and lead and or conduct of internal and external FAT together with on-site field and service engineers.
  • Determine installation and assembly requirements for specific equipment and system components, guided by product technical installation blueprints
  • Establish commissioning and start-up work processes and procedures, including systematic integration, testing, and initial operations, as well as coordinate commissioning and start-up activities with internal and external stakeholders.

3.Test and Complete

  • Using an in-house database, select and prepare testing procedures, checklists, and testing reports. Customize to fit requirements.
  • Ensure that user acceptance tests are planned and properly carried out with integrity and documentation is done
  • Ensure knowledge transfer to the end-users so that they can effectively utilize and manage the solutions installed.
  • Have a closure meeting with the client to officially end the project

4. Manage Risk and Business

  • Develop risk management plans and risk controls in alignment with the organization’s risk management framework
  • Analyze and consider the financial implications of various decisions and tasks
  • Analyze the solutions developed, and work accomplished to identify learning points for continuous improvement initiatives.

5. Organizational functions

  • Drive team performance to achieve department goals.
  • Analyze viability to proposed continuous improvement/lesson learned initiatives and drive change management to achieve the goal for the first time right
  • Provide onboarding training to newcomers and attend training provided as part of personal development.

Prerequisites:

  • ITE, Diploma or Degree in Chemical / Mechanical Engineering / Electrical or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years relevant working experience
  • Experience in field instrumentation, process analytics and mechanical equipment will be highly relevant but not compulsory
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
