Powata Pte Ltd – Full Stack Web Developer Intern

We are looking for a skilled and self-motivated, Full Stack developer intern to reinforce our development team and to work on our own mobile applications and web platforms, to ensure we keep implementing new functionalities, whilst keeping the platforms scalable and manageable.

Our desktop platforms are built in Laravel and Vue.js and our mobile applications for iOS and Android in React Native.

As a Full Stack intern at Powata, your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

• Build, maintain and contribute to our company’s web-based platform and APIs
• Gaining full understanding of the project requirements to articulate accurate project scopes
• Actively participate in design decisions to keep our platform future proof
• Propose code improvements and structural improvement
• Research and experiment new API and technologies
• Work closely with the teams to roll-out new features/products
• Write clean, maintainable and efficient code
• Design robust, scalable and secure features
• Follow best practices (test-driven development, continuous integration, SCRUM, refactoring, code standards)
• Drive continuous adoption and integration of relevant new technologies into design

Skills required

• Knowledge of PHP, MySQL (Laravel framework preferred)
• Knowledge of Javascript frameworks (Vue.js preferred)
• Knowledge of React Native / Redux for Android and iOS mobile applications
• Knowledge of Restful APIs
• Knowledge of browser compatibility across multiple platforms and devices
• Working knowledge of Bitbucket/Github preferred
• Self-motivated and autonomous
• Attention to details
• Excellent command of English

Internship duration: 4 to 6 months
