Data science and machine learning can enable maritime logistics to transform into an efficient industry - will knock on effects on how goods reach you and me, both in terms of customer service level and in terms of cost.

This position reports to the CEO and interfaces with the engineering, data science and sales teams. Portcast is a venture-backed startup, building the next-gen logistics technology. Trainee to be involved in activities related to:
1. Improving the data quality by checking completeness, correctness and accuracy of data
2. Resolving data issues by working with the customer and data teams and identifying innovative approaches to integrate
additional data
3. Defining data quality metrics to be tracked per customer
4. Interacting with customers to provide status and recommendations
5. Supporting the sales and growth strategy development
6. Be responsible for customer satisfaction and account management activities
7. Support marketing and lead generation activities with the marketing team

Eligibility Criteria for SGUnitedTraineeships:
-Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident
-Graduated or graduating in calendar year 2019 or 2020
-Graduated earlier from above institutions and completed National Service in 2019 or 2020.
