PLMP Blockchain Pte Ltd – IT Dev Ops

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Dev OPs Engineer. As our new Senior Dev OPS Engineer, you will be in charge of the specification, deployment operation, and documentation of the current and new projects. In addition, you will be developing new features and writing scripts for automation using Bash/Java/Python/Shell. You will be also be working to streamline the development cycle and set up the different enviroments (Staging and production) as well as setup CI/CD pipelines for our development team. You will work closely with a team of skilled developers ,engineers and solution architects . You will primarily be working on fintech products which require a cautious and security first mindset. you will also be responsible for managing our blockchain and crytocurrency infrastructure as well as deploy private blockchain networks on different cloud hosting services like AWS, Azure,Bluemix etc.

Responsibilities

Design and implement build, deployment and configuration management

.Test implemented designs

.Build and test automation tools for infrastructure provisioning

.Handle code deployments in all environments

.Monitor metrrics and develop ways to improve

.Provide technical guidance and educate team members and coworkers on development and operations

.brainstorm for new ideas and ways to improve development delivery

.consult with peers for feedback during testing stages

.Build ,maintain, and monitor configuration standards

.Maintain day to day management and adminstration of projects

.Manage CI and CD tools with team

.Document and design various processes; update existing processes

.improve infrastructure development and application development

Follow all best practices and procedures as established by the company

configure and manage data sources like MYSQL, Mongo , Elasticsearch, Redis, etc

Manage source control using GIT

Learn about Management and operation of blockchain infrasture including distributed , private and secure networks.

Skills and Qualifications

High school degree or equivalent; bachelor degree in CS, engineering, software engineering or related field

2 -3 years previous experience in development and operations or related IT, computer or operations field

Previous experience with

. software development

.Production-grade infrasture development, or development and operations

experience with

Linux infrastures

.Database SQL(MS SQL ) PostGreSQL, MongoDB

.Experience with JAVA/JVM based languages

.Experience with Redis, Elastic search

. Kafka/RabbitMQ and /or other queuing services

.CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Travis etc.

.Scripting such as JavaScript , PHP, Python, Bash, Shell

.Scrum/Kanban/SAFe, Agile workflow methodologies

Up-to-date on the latest industry trends ; able to articulate trends and potential clearly and confidently

Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management

Able to multitask , prioritize and manage time efficiently

Should be big on security with a cautious mindset

Other skills

Experience with financial/transactional /high security/private systems is a huge plus

Experience with blockchain infrasture, distributed networks management and operation is a huge plus

experience with crypto libraries and other cryto-based tools his a huge plus.

experience with cryptocurrency infrasturcture management is a huge plus.
