Planner Bee aims to bridge the gap in the financial industry by automating the process of financial data consolidation and financial planning for our users. This will allow our users to take control over their finances and investment choices without the presence of a sales person pressuring them. We are targeting young, tech-savvy and global Asians through our mobile (iOS and Android)/ web applications, which are localised for the Asian countries we operate in.
Ultimately, we aim to be a one-stop financial advisor that offers users personalised financial planning recommendations and an unbiased marketplace for them to purchase investment and insurance products.
We are looking for software developers who are passionate about making quality financial planning available to the masses. We are constantly fine-tuning our product offerings and are looking for experienced individuals who understand industry best practices. Familiarity across multiple coding languages is key, however we do also prioritize individuals who take initiative and are strong team players. As part of a small team, you will be able to make a direct impact to the project and should be comfortable working in an agile environment. We are also open to freelancers who are able to work on a project or contract basis.
Job scope
Work collaboratively with project managers, UX designers and other developers to track and manage project across its development cycle.
Create and manage APIs for backend server
Analyze user requirements
Write and test code to ensure compatibility and stability: refine and rewrite as necessary
Respond to changes and requirements in a fast and effective manner
Work with external API providers and integrate functionalities into our software applications.
Familiarity with MongoDB database will be a plus
