3-6 Months Design Intern for 4 Storey Conservation House (Interior Design / Architecture)
We are seeking talented Interior Design Interns to be based in Singapore. You will be focusing on designing and building conservation houses in Singapore, from conceptualizing to construction.
Design Brief:
Candidate will have to create smart multifunctional rooms.
Level 1: Office space, 1 Patio, 1 Vertical Garden, 1 Parking Lot
Level 2: Residential space
Level 3 and 4: SOHO, co-working or living space
Design Aesthetic Keywords: modular systems, unconventional designs, hidden spaces, convertible spaces
Illustration: To design a parking lot that can double as an entertainment room with a bar counter
Responsibilities:
Prepare Design Ideation, Conceptualization, Costing, and Proposal including plans, elevations and sections, graphics, concept diagrams, and renderings;
Sourcing & proposing of interior styling furnishing & décor, including presentation drawings/model production/material board, etc.;
Project management of local Singapore suppliers & vendors including overseas contractors, professional engineers, architects etc.;
Any other duties that the company may consider appropriate.
Requirements:
English and Mandarin speaking for our main contractors
You have knowledge of SketchUp, AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, or other programs related to Design.
Self-motivated, target oriented and independent with high degree of commitment to meet deadlines and objectives.
Creative, resourceful, solution oriented and customer-focused.
