Initially set up in 1982 as the NTUC Computer Training Centre, a division under the Skills Development Department of the NTUC Administration and Research Unit, the organisation has evolved to meet the burgeoning training needs of Singaporeans to continuously keep pace with the dynamic business economy.

Job Description
  • Design curriculum and courseware materials
  • Create curriculum design specifications based on analyses of curriculum objectives to guide the development of courseware materials
  • Define desired user experience journeys for learners based on analyses of learning experience objectives
  • Evaluate appropriate learning delivery modes to facilitate achievement of learning experience objectives
  • Recommend potential applications of learning technology and systems to facilitate achievement of learning experience objectives
  • Development of courseware materials to ensure alignment with curriculum objectives
  • Evaluate the feasibility of assessment methods and processes based on analyses of curriculum objectives
  • Recommend accreditation and certification processes and models based on analyses of curriculum objectives

 

Qualifications

  • Must have a WSQ Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) or WSQ Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP)
  • *Must have a WSQ Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education (DACE)*
  • At least 2 years of experience in curriculum design
  • Able to combine both theoretical concepts and real-life experiences in the design of the curriculum
  • Able to organize the course into practical sections
  • Able to develop the following courseware topics
    • Financial Statements
    • Cash Operating Cycle
    • Costing
    • Budgeting
    • Return on Investment (ROI)
    • Digital platforms to receive, send and refund money to clients, customers and/or suppliers
    • Taxation
    • Foreign exchange implications
