Job Description

Programme Description:

Adopting a blended learning approach through education (10%), exposure (20%) and experience (70%):

  • Structured modular training
  • Accelerated exposure and hands-on opportunities in community care sector
  • Deliver workable solutions towards integrated eldercare services
  • Leaning towards building a leadership pipeline for NTUC Health

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Job rotations in Day Care/ Home Care and Residential Care settings
  • Day Care settings consist of Senior Day Care, Dementia Day Care, Day Rehabilitation
  • Home Care settings consist of Home Personal Care/ Integrated Care, Case management, Advance care planning
  • Residential Care settings consist of 24 hour medical and nursing care, respite care, allied health care and advance care planning
  • Selection of career track in either clinical or non-clinical track upon end of programme
  • Actively liaise with clients and other stakeholders to provide excellent quality of care
  • Support our daily operations smoothly and perform incident management protocols
  • Constantly review SOPs with cross functional teams to improve and optimize plans for operations
  • Actively participate in quality improvement projects and develop sustainable initiatives together with our business teams while continuing to deliver a delightful client experience
  • Support in the execution of designated emergency response tasks

Technical Skills and Competencies:

  • Combination of Clinical & Functional, Personal Development & Leadership

Qualifications

  • ITE/ Diploma certificate
  • Disciplines in nursing, community care & social services, health promotion and management, business, arts & social science
  • Excellent Co-Curricular Activities track record
  • Volunteer experiences in the community
  • Eager to make a difference
