Job Description
The Regional Partnerships South East Asia Sales Office (SEASO) Team is looking for an intern to provide additional support to the Regional SEA sales team in key regional clients account management responsibilities as well as inbound and outbound sales initiatives with the intention that the intern may be considered for a full-time position within the team.

Objectives of this role include learning about Ninja Van’s regional service offerings well as operational and product capabilities, learning different aspects of account management and sales techniques required to grow revenues of regional accounts, actively supporting regional partnerships’ day-to-day business by working closely with other regional departments and country teams as well as gaining a fundamental understanding of the logistics and ecommerce space in Southeast Asia.

Responsibilities

    • Assisting the key account managers to identify, troubleshoot and address issues affecting the client’s operational, tech related and commercial performance
    • Assisting the key account managers in client onboarding to ensure efficient and smooth activation of new clients
    • Working with cross functional internal stakeholders to assist in providing competitive and viable logistical solutions to clients
    • Provide assistance to regional and local teams in launching new sales related initiatives relating to both inbound and outbound sales
    • Assisting with commercial negotiations with our clients, including reviewing of contracts, preparing external facing rate cards and preparing materials for monthly business reviews

Requirements

    • You are a penultimate/final year student who is available to work for 12 weeks between June and August 2021 (you must graduate by 2022) or have graduated for not more than 1 year
    • Bachelor's degree preferably in Business, Economics or related fields
    • Excellent spoken and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
    • Experience with PowerPoint, Word and Excel preferred
    • Highly adaptable, self driven and motivated individual with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
    • Demonstrated experience in working on projects requiring high degree of multi tasking and stakeholder management
