Job Description

Traineeship Description:

This position reports to the Head of Admissions and Corporate Account and interfaces with student recruitment, as well as marketing & corporate communication, and HR managers and staff. Specific Responsibilities: 

Trainee to be involved in:

1. Gather, analyse and present data, compile reports, set up databases as required, carry out preliminary research, prepare/draft presentations.

2. Develop an understanding of Private Higher Education administration, and support administrative tasks and processes within the institution to ensure that recruitment cycles, drivers and pressures are understood.

3. Contribute to policy development in areas related to relevant projects assigned and support operational work that contributes to the ongoing work of the team in the institution.

Technical Skills and Competencies Trainee will learn during SGUnited Traineeship Programme:

1. Active participation in management and planning meetings to understand how business objectives, goals, strategies and targets are developed and implemented.

2. How to engage internal and external stakeholders professionally.

3. Gain in-depth knowledge of the regulatory and operating environment of a private higher education institution and how policies and processes determine business outcomes.

Education Qualifications Required for the Traineeship Role:

  • Degree

Duration of Traineeship Offered:

  • 9 months

Eligibility Criteria for SGUnited Traineeships:

Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident; and

  1. Graduated or graduating in calendar year 2019 or 2020 from universities, or other educational institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions); or
  2. Graduated earlier from above institutions and completed National Service in 2019 or 2020.
