Nested Technologies Pte. Ltd. – 2D Animation Internship

The 2D Animator will work on pixel art animations with game designers and software developers. The animator will be involved in brainstorming and creating character sprite sheets based on game roadmap, descriptions and past reference. The animator will also work on logos, banners and animations for social media and website.

Requirements

(Preferred)

• Proficient in Aseprite
• A strong eye for visual composition
• Excellent understanding of line and form, colour and light, human anatomy
• Ability to work well within a dynamic team environment and respond well to creative feedback
• Ability to provide creative input to improve designs
• Self-motivated, collaborative, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Are available for duration of 3-6 months

• Experience working on a published game

Primary responsibilities

• Create pixel art characters and items for the game
• Create pixel art animations of the character in different states such as breathing, idle, attack and death
• Draw and animate banners for social media and website
