Job Description

Team Information

As part of the drive to attain NVPC’s vision of a City of Good, the Company of Good was established in 2016 to help companies give better. Companies engage with Company of Good to understand their giving profile, build their knowledge, capability and network, and partner with other like-minded businesses to do good.

Project

The Fellowship programme is the flagship programme for Company of Good. This is a talent development programme for high potential business leaders which runs from May to September annually. We are now preparing to welcome our 4th intake in May 2021.

The Fellowship has 12 learning days spread across 5 months and will have 40 Fellows in class. Fellowship has been a physical programme taking place in a physical space. With evolving health advisories, COG may run Fellowship 100% virtual or a hybrid model (partial physical, partial virtual).

Learning Opportunity

  • Pick up the nuances and many approaches to strategic corporate giving
  • Develop strong networking competencies with a ‘client success’ mindset
  • Gain tangible experience in a corporate work setting, and understand why and how corporate work culture develop and evolve
  • Understand the different motivations and ways of building a City of Good

Responsibilities 

Support the planning and execution of the Fellowship programme:

  • Conceptualise and produce simple branding visuals for social media platforms e.g. LinkedIn, Facebook, COG-related Whatsapp channels
  • Liaise with training partners and vendors on logistics matters e.g. set up of Zoom rooms/physical event space, catering of F&B and transport for learning journeys (if applicable) etc.
  • Provide strong and prompt ‘on-site’ event help e.g. ensuring that training materials and feedback forms are prepped and printed on time, rooms are set-up and cleared accordingly, AV help for trainers, registration of Fellows, transportation arrangements if necessary.
  • Provide prompt administrative support to the Fellowship team, the Fellows and mentors e.g. collate and provide timely feedback to the Fellowship team after each module, ensure proper documentation and archiving of completed modules, ensuring prompt payments to partners and vendors.
  • Support other Fellowship-related events e.g. networking sessions etc
  • Ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time pertaining to programmes under the ‘Company of Good’

Requirements

  • Competent in using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop or Canva
  • An eye for details
  • Pro-active and comfortable with ambiguity
  • Able to commit 5 working days a week
