With our software and hardware, we successfully produced the revolutionary Eyefly3D - a thin, flexible, film (based on nano structures), when affixed to a high resolution mobile/tablet display turns mundane 2D into a spectacular glasses-free 3D viewing platform. This extraordinary plastic film is also the first ever accessory that allows viewing of 3D content in both portrait and landscape modes, while offering almost negligible 2D pixelization, while also providing features of a screen protector. Our next generation product in development will use the same science for vision correction.
Position Summary:
The Software Developer reports to Head of Software Development based in Singapore. He/She will be goaled with enhancing the current suite of tools, SDK, Apps and a platform driven portal to aggregate 3D content, games and social activities and champion new projects in line with Nanoveu’s growth. Working closely with the Development team based in Singapore and India, there is a shared goal to build world-class products for smart devices.
Key roles and responsibilities:
- Responsible for the development and execution of a comprehensive operational and technical software plan.
- Responsible to Head of Development in building a Game/Social/Content Strategy as well as executing the Company’s B2C products. This includes algorithm development, optimization,computational display, light field display and glasses-free 3D display.
- Design and develop commercially acceptable iOS and Android applications to meet the requirements of the Company.
- Work in a small and nimble team in Singapore, and remotely in India, ensuring the team has an accurate understanding of the end-users’ needs/requirements.
- Working hand in hand with a local institute of higher learning in software development on an approved project.
- Create a suite of products to complement unique nano structured lens built for smart devices.
Essential to have:
- 3D domain knowledge.
- Unity3D experience, Game Engine domain knowledge.
- Open GL, X Code domain knowledge
- Java/J2EE/RESTful Web-Services.
- Web App Dev (html/css/js).
- Mobile Hybrid / Native development using iOS (Xcode) and Android.
- Mobile Apps testing protocol domain knowledge
- Experience of designing the user friendly UI will be an added advantage.
Required Personal experience, abilities and skills: - Experience and interest within the 3D, Gaming and Social sphere, Optics/Vision, Knowledge of IPTV, data communications/networking and Video technologies is mandatory.
- Comfortable in a Startup environment.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to multi-task under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Excellent reporting and verbal communication skills
Qualifications :
Bachelors in Software Engineering or Computer Science / Diploma in Engineering
