The core responsibility of the General Accounting and Finance in the Regional Office is to fulfill the accounting and reporting requirements in timely manner with high data quality for Munich Re Singapore Branch, and ensuring internal/external compliance with appropriate controls and processes. We are seeking a highly motivated intern to be part of our team.
Job Description
Your Job
- Assist in quarterly closing activities for the branch and service company
- Assist in quarterly/annual regulatory forms in accordance to requirements in the Insurance Act
- Ensure compliance and adherence of internal process controls; statutory, regulatory and tax requirements as well as best practices and ability to apply those prescribed under guidelines
- Maintain the integrity of financial statement data as well as bringing greater efficiency to the process
- Involvement in ongoing finance projects and any other adhoc tasks
Your Profile
- Undergraduate in Accounting/Finance or related discipline
- Prior internship experience in a similar role will be an added advantage
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
