Job Description

This internship is for the period of April to July 2020 or longer, subjective to the tertiary institutions' internship program duration. The HR Intern will assist the HR Business Partner by participating and managing the HR related projects as assigned to support the whole organisation in the Asia Pacific Region.

Scope of Responsibilities:

  • Spend 50% of your time working with the various HR functional stakeholders to identify, rationalise and prioritise suitable opportunities for automation
  • Establish as-is and to-be processes for areas of potential development with the purpose to achieve detailed analyses of current data on-hand to improve the employee experience
  • Support the main HRBP processes such as facilitating the recruitment admin process, Performance & Development Review, Development Plans, Annual Salary Review, etc.
  • Participate in the brainstorming and and executing employee engagement initiatives the enrich the employee lifecycle including, but bot limited to sourcing and liasing with external vendors
  • Assist in driving the internal communications across Motorola Solutions' offices within APAC region
  • Currently an undergraduate in their final year of studies majoring in Business & Management, Human Resources, Organisational Behaviour, Computer Science, or HR Analytics
  • Interested to gain hands-on experience in the are of HR automation, HR Analytics and project management
  • Able to commit for at least 6 months for optimal learning exposure, commencing from Feb 2020
  • High level of accuracy, reliability and personal integrity to uphold confidential information
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially in Excel vlookup, pivot table, etc.)
  • Able to communicate well with people at all levels
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and time management skills
