Job Description

The Role:

Contribute to the development of the house view and strategic recommendations for Asia‐Pacific real estate markets. This role will also involve supporting the generation of new investment insights that help form fresh investment initiatives and products. You will also be expected to help raise M&G Real Estate’s profile as a thought‐leader in the industry.

Timeframe: Early May‐ Early August 2022 (12‐14 weeks); negotiable

Key Work Level Accountabilities:

  • Accountable for delivering a quality service and product to customers and stakeholders
  • Focuses on quality of delivery to achieve clear outputs within guidelines and precedent
  • Runs the organisation's processes and systems following pre-defined procedures
  • Adapts to change, responds with initiative and make suggestions for improvements to own work and processes

Key Responsibilities for this role:

  • Assemble national, regional and local economic and property market information for the formation of in‐house market views
  • Extract data and update databases and presentation decks for potential investment opportunities and client meetings
  • Research and analyse information for key research projects, covering trends and themes relevant to the real estate markets, to assess potential investment opportunities and risks for investment strategies
  • Co‐produce internal/external papers that would help advance the knowledge of M&G Real Estate and raise the Company’s profile as a thought‐leader
  • Liaise with internal departments to gather information and coordinate internal market updates to PRT and relevant departments

Key knowledge, skills and experience:

  • Degree in finance, real estate, economics, business or related fields of study is preferred
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Good command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint applications
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively within and across teams
  • Self‐motivated
  • Resourceful and inquisitive; open to new ideas
  • Detail‐oriented
