Job Description

As part of our growth ambitions in McCormick Southeast Asia, we are seeking an Intern to support our brand marketing, research and insights for our Consumer Retail business across Southeast Asia.

 

Responsibilities

He/She will be responsible for the following:

  • Provide brand and digital support to regional marketing projects

  • Scope market opportunities, matching McCormick's strengths to develop strategic roadmap and portfolio for SEA for the next 5 years (2020-2024).

  • Support and manage marketing research & analytics efforts with external and internal resources to design and analyse our consumer retail portfolio as well as develop and share actionable data-driven insights across region, driving integration of the insights into cohesive strategies with our cross-functional teams;

  • Continuously evaluate and validate new food trend opportunities to drive front-end innovations with our Product Development & Culinary team that will delight our customers and enhance customer intimacy;

  • Plan and execute special projects to support SEA priorities and growth ambitions.

 

Candidate Requirements 

  • Preferably undergraduate (final year) Bachelor’s Degree in Business/ Commerce and or Marketing/ Analytics

  • Direct (internship) experience in developing and implementing brand strategies and content development, research analysis and consumer products marketing experience within the FMCG industry (preferrably food) preferred

  • Ability to effectively communicate and influence through strong relationships, networking, stakeholder management, and cross-team collaboration.

  • Solid undestanding of Marketing concepts and processes, industry sector, retail and competitive landscape and impact of macro and consumer trends
