Business Intern Description
This is a position for digitally savvy, analytical, and willing to learn full time student. The business intern supports the marketing department for development and implementing marketing strategies, which includes producing well-written content. As a business intern, you will collaborate and assist our sales and marketing team in online and event campaigns. This internship will help you acquire basic negotiating skills, content writing skills, basic sales technique, and marketing skills. Additionally, data analysis in decision-making and provide you with knowledge of various marketing strategies. Ultimately, the Intern will gain broad experience in marketing and be prepared to enter any fast paced work environment. The objective is to develop a strategy that would enhance the branding and conversion of the business.
Intern Responsibilities.
- Assist the marketing team to write up engaging marketing copy for website content, blog post, email newsletter etc.
- Ability to create campaign EDM materials while conveying a proper writing tone with appropriate keywords and hyperlinks in the copy
- Research into current trends and keywords (SEO/SEM) and participate in brainstorming sessions
- Work closely with the marketing team to create and curate content that aligns with marketing goals and objectives
- Handle day-to-day operations such as managing social media assets (Facebook, LinkedIn, email campaigns, WeChat)
- Analyze statistics to improve CTR, followers, and branding of the company
- Manage company database and customer relationship management system (CRM)
- Prepare promotional and sales presentation PowerPoint slides

Intern Requirements
- Current students studying business related field
- Excellent command of English with strong communication and writing skills
- Proficient mandarin writing skills to help with the content marketing in Chinese social platforms such as WeChat.
- Ability to research on topic independently and willing to have open communication for discussion
- Organized and meticulous with an inquisitive mind to learn
- Would be good to have a portfolio to showcase writing samples and/or EDMs
- Able to commit for minimally 6 months full-time with LOA.
