We are looking for a Customer Experience Consultant to anchor in Sealand Asia’s service partnership capabilities towards our Singapore customers through delivering high data quality standards on (pre & post) vessel reconciliation tasks.

With the Intra Asia export market from Singapore continuing to demonstrate strong and competitive long term growth, your role as a Customer Experience Consultant at Sealand Asia, Singapore places you in a team of focused shipping professionals who foster and strengthen partnerships with dynamic customers leading the forefront of this market growth.

 In this position you will have an opportunity to acquire skills and knowledge:

  •  Encompassing the entire export process and practices for Sealand Asia’s Intra Asia shipments
  •  In Sealand Asia’s Global Customer Service System (GCSS) for creating bookings and transport documents
  •  PSA’s Portnet System 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS

  • Be the point of contact to attend to queries and manage exceptions to ensure E2E to delivery is as promised by working closely with all relevant stakeholders 
  • Be proactive in keeping the customers informed of changes, managing exceptions, providing solutions and willing to go the extra mile when required, covering but not limited to bookings, documentation, invoicing, space, equipment, schedule/network adjustments, products and local market related matters 
  •  Manage key customers’ compliance to agreed commitment which will include monitoring downfalls 
  • Work with KCM and other stakeholders in managing Outstanding, payment cycles that may involve credit, PAYAT and Payer related issues that affects 
  • Onboard and guide customers so that it is simple for them when working with Sealand Asia and in this connection promote and drive adoption of self-service and digital features that can benefit customers 
  • Participate in the QBR process through following up on customer feedback and sharing actions taken with KCM 
  • Identify and upsell L&S opportunities 
  • Seek out continuous improvement opportunities that mutually benefits both customers and internally here relevant and necessary be the focal or part of the team that prepares for and implement global projects 
  • Continuously upskill self to ensure competencies required are evident 

THE PERSON

The incumbent should possess a Degree / Diploma (in any discipline) with 2 years of Customer Service Experience being preferred. Fresh graduates are welcome!

You should have the desire and ability to take ownership and deliver what we promise to our customers. You need to have an ambition to do a superior job and have the ability to work under pressure. It is essential that you have a sense of urgency in everything you do.

You should also be proactive and have initiative. Having an outstanding attention to details, well-organized, efficient and effective is essential for the role. You will need to be a good team player, with strong interpersonal and communication skills who appreciates teamwork.
