The APAC Retail Design & Visual Merchandising Intern’s role is to assist the Retail Design & Visual Merchandising team in daily operations which include organization of HQ & Regional guidelines & liaising with markets on all design updates. She or he will assist merchandising team in keeping track on Design guidelines deliverables to be delivered timely. She or he will also understudy the department to create best practice reports & competitor’s analysis, and compiling updated information from APAC markets to build upon the existing Regional Retail Design & Visual Merchandising database.
Responsibilities
Retail Design
•Familiarize with Retail Design Travel Retail workflow & processes
•Study & updates APAC Travel Retail Design Bible with latest details approved by Central
•Study and organize share drive of Retail Design projects by markets
•Assist Retail Design Manager on Projects drawings submission to Retailers – Experience using softwares like Autocad & Sketch up
•Assist Retail Design Manager on Projects touch up follow up with vendors
•Assist Retail Design team on developing new concepts, lip bars roll out & planograms
•Create Retail Design Best Practice Report on new development
Visual Merchandising
•Assist Visual Merchandiser on planogram's monthly updates & reporting
•Assist VM team on Retailers presentation & staging guidelines follow up with markets.
•Assist VM team on New Opening - VM set up & planograms follow up with markets
•Assist VM team on Soft POSM development: XMAS gift box, CNY, lip bars & AA bars.
•Study & updates Current Travel VM Guidelines – Focus on TR sets & consultation table
•Consolidate New opening reports from all markets & organize photo library
•Support markets in Visual Merchandising documentation daily request
