Be part of the team that achieved 3 industry awards at Supply Chain Asia Gala Award Ceremony! By the end of this internship, you will gain insight into the supply chain for a global FMCG company. Gain exposure to demand and supply planning for different brands and divisions, and work with a team that strives for efficiency and sustainability.

Internship Period: Jul 2019 – Jan 2020 (6 months)

How can you contribute?

Are you good at planning logistics and process management? Are you good with analysing complex data?

We are looking to hire Operations Interns who enjoy seeking out the most agile, innovative, efficient and responsible solutions to meet the needs of our consumers, for our L’Oréal Local or Singapore Regional Operations team.

Key responsibilities of Local Operations team:

  • Ensure efficient logistics flow across countries represented with the Supply Chain team or Order Processing team
  • Design and execute process management initiatives with the Purchasing team to enhance efficiency
  • Act as a point of contact for the regional hub by liaising with country operations representatives and liaise with suppliers and external partners (including warehouse partners and vendors)
  • Improve logistics flow by running wastage reduction projects and data analysis projects

Key responsibilities of Regional Operations team:

  • Ensure efficient logistics flow across countries and brands with the Supply Chain team or Physical Distribution team
  • Analyse and recommend process improvements
  • Analyse KPIs and publish reports to stakeholders
  • Bridge the communication between regional office and L’Oreal APAC Affiliates

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Analytical skills, has and have a knack for project management
  • Be sharp, innovative and creative
  • Proficiency in Excel, hands-on experience with Macros and VBA is a PLUS
  • Strong communication skills as you will be working with colleagues across teams & countries
