You will be contributing towards products with our technical team with your firmware expertise. The role involves hands-on knowledge on interacting with some old and new systems, interfacing them with your firmware and back to our cloud system. As part of a lean group, your work will have a significant impact on the success of the team and its products.

About you:
The Role
- Help in creating world class firmware for IoT and IIOT
- Interact with cross-functional teams across Lignar Labs and Lignar Engineering for cohesive product development.
- Dive into and take technical ownership of critical design areas for the products and its features.
- Participate regularly in design reviews.
- Help build robust methodology and processes to deliver high quality products that wow the customer.
Basic Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Computer Engineering / Computer Science or related field
- Experience in firmware / software development
- Experience in programming skills in C/C++
- Some experience developing low level software on platforms such as Linux / Unix / Windows or embedded / Mobile OS such as Android.
- Version-management / source-code control experience, like Git.
- Experience reading schematics
- Technical document writing experience using Visio, Word, Excel, and / or PowerPoint
- Scripting experience with Perl/Python/Bash
- Prior work experience with BSP / kernel software design, embedded RTOS based devices will be good but optional
- Sound knowledge of networking protocols TLS/ TCP/ UDP/ IP
