In Summary
We're looking for a creative designer, illustrator and artist to support our design and social media content production business arm. As our Design Intern, you'd work closely with our Design team to bring client brand briefs to life and assist our Social Media team with post designs that drive results. You'd also get to experience UI/UX design while exercising design thinking for website layouts and gain relevant project management skills while taking ownership of your work.
It is a bonus if you have experience in content production such as photography and videography and stay up-to-date with current industry design trends. If you find yourself having many unexplored design ideas, keen to learn more about different types of design on the job and are organised, we'll give the opportunity and support you need to experiment.
What Happens on the Job
- Work with project team and design team to further understand the client brief, target audience and insights to deliver relevant interactive creative solutions
- Designing social media posts, website wireframes, brand packaging mock-ups, website mock-ups etc.
- Assist with modifying creative concepts and designs according to the client's comments
- Create artistic moodboards for product photoshoots across various industries
- Take ownership for the delivery of the creatives and design work
- Work and communicate effectively with the Social Media and Design teams during projects to deliver work timely and progress together
Skills Required
- Candidates who are pursuing a diploma/degree in Art or Design or similar field of study
- Basic understanding of web development and design life cycle
- Ability to use design softwares such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe XD and Procreate. It will be a bonus if you can use Adobe Premium Pro and Adobe Lightroom as well.
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail, especially when working on different design works for various clients and working with different teams
