Job Description

  • Anticipate cleaning and maintenance requirement based on usage, assessment of machines’ functionality and capabilities
  • Plan cleaning and maintenance requirement; allocate resources to execute cleaning and maintenance services based on agreed schedule
  • Manage budget and monitor expenditures
  • Lead workshop team for recon work e.g. refurbishing of old equipment used by store
  • Oversee the execution of minor A&A projects
  • Develop service protocols and SOP for cleaning and maintenance services
  • Call for and manage tenders
  • Review shortlisted suppliers/ contractors
  • Lead in the negotiation of contract with suppliers
  • Review and approve contracts drafted by supervisor/technician to ensure clarity and completeness of contracts based on requirements
  • Conduct periodic check on condition of  building services; prepare report and propose schedule based on needs
  • Review workflow to increase efficiency and productivity
  • Liaise with external contractors for the provision of maintenance and repair services
  • Coordinate with procurement team to get quotations and conduct purchases for projects
  • Lead team of PM staff by providing guidance, support and motivation
  • Carry out team management activities including appraisals, managing disciplinary issues and development, in conjunction with immediate supervisor

Qualification

  • Diploma in M&E Engineering, Facilities Engineering with 10 years experience
  • Experience in managing a small team of technicians
  • Project planning and project management experience
