Job Description

The Account Coordinator assists and supports account teams, coordinating activities for Client Programs for the successful delivery of client and agency objectives.
Job Description
- Daily media monitoring and reporting
- Ongoing company and client website administration
- Social media monitoring and coordination
- Content development, e.g. writing of releases, alerts, and other client collateral
- Perform various day-to-day activities/tasks and support account teams to deliver client programs and projects
- Conduct research and compile case management studies for Client program/s
- Produce Client reports and statistics as per program schedule as directed by team supervisors
- Draft media releases, media alert, case studies and other communications materials and submit as approved by team supervisors
- Assist in coordinating events, production & merchandising for clients or projects
- Update and manage various information databases for Client program/s or internal team
- Assist teams and participate in brainstorming sessions for pitches and new business
- Download clips for monthly and quarterly reports and clip articles from magazines and newspapers relevant to clients requirements
- Provide administrative tasks to account teams (presentation documents) and general office support as required
- Ensure teamwork and open communication with colleagues and management to achieve program objectives
- Exhibit and reinforce the professionalvalues and policies of the Company and adhere to compliance procedures asrequired by legislation
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Mass Communications or related discipline
- Good verbal and written communications skills, (drafting media releases, news summaries)
- Excellent research skills using appropriate tools
- Basic knowledge of quality control processes (documentation)
- Fundamental understanding of client services and business environment
- Good organisational skills with the ability to multitask
- Ability to complete activities to meet agreed deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment
- Computer literate – Intermediate MS Office(excel, word & PowerPoint), familiar with websites & ability to do basic photo manipulation (crop, resize etc)
- Familiar with using, updating and producing reports from databases
- Awareness of emerging industry changes,trends or technology within appropriate area
- Knowledge and previous usage of various office equipment
- Flexible and adaptable to changing environments
- High energy, enthusiasm and positive attitude, with a desire to learn
- Self motivated - self starter and uses initiative for process improvement
- Ability to accept direction and suggestions for personal development
- High attention to detail and deadlines
