We are looking for a data science interns to work on interesting problems in the space of voice and vision to improve business processes for our clients. We will rely on you to build data products to extract valuable business insights. Your primary focus will be in applying data mining techniques, doing statistical analysis, and building high quality prediction systems integrated with our products.
In this role, you should be highly analytical with a knack for analysis, math and statistics. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential for interpreting data. We also want to see a passion for machine-learning and research.
Scope of internship
- Work on computer vision use cases
- Develop action recognition methods for domains like workplace safety, construction, manufacturing, retail etc
- Develop image classification models for different domains
- Research on how to improve scene and action recognition
- Creating realtime alert systems based on action recognition
Requirements
- Proficiency in python
- Good understanding of classification algorithms
- Knowledge and understanding of deep learning algorithms of image classification
- Prior experience in working with azure computer vision and custom vision is a plus
