Responsibilities:
-Handle daily rate enquiries from local customers and overseas agents
-Timely response for all enquiries with multiple solutions and accuracy
-Negotiate with shippers and co-loaders for best freight rates to ensure the profit margins and targets are met
-Handle regional RFQs-Communicate and coordinate with operations team for efficient execution of shipments
-Maintain and submit daily reports
-Understand and analyse market trends, assist in providing pricing strategies for clients
-Coordinate with overseas partners for cross trade shipments
-Develop overseas agent business through regular communication, efficient pricing and follow ups
-Develop flyers for promotional plans and assist in mass mailers for partners
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma
- Minimum 1 year of working experience in freight forwarding
- The ability to speak Japanese will be an advantage
- Good relationships with carriers or shipping lines will be advantageous
Suitable training will be provided.
