It Takes Balls. founded by Artist Adeline Loo specializes in fiber arts.
She seeks to create works which are immersive and textural. Adeline is drawn to personal experiences, stories, and practices craftivism to express herself. Working mainly with waste fabric, upcycled materials and other industrial detritus, Adeline is currently exploring sculptural processes with knitting and weaving techniques.
It Takes Balls also seeks to challenge and redefine the traditional notions of knitting and domestic crafts.

Assistant / Production Crew
We're looking for a few assistants / production crew for various upcoming projects. No prior experience necessary except a positive attitude and pride in your work.
This role is very hands-on as you’ll be helping to fabricate and build various art installations (no prior woodworking, carpentry or machine skills needed). Necessary for applicants to be able to use staple guns, hammers and nails (training provided).
You’ll be working alongside our artist so you’ll pick up a new skillset, acquire bts production setup knowledge and get to be a part of a meaningful creative process!
The role is physically demanding and long hours in the process. The studio is air-conditioned but it will be messy and you are surrounded by workshop tools - so dress appropriately. Applicants should be aware that there's sometimes no aircon and when we move to on-site installation, it will likely be outdoors and unsheltered location.
Requirement - need to commit min 10 consecutive days of the timeline as posted.
Timing: 10-12hour days
Salary: Base of $10hr (we can discuss a package fee too depending on your experience/commitment period)
OT transport provided after 11.15pm.
