Isentia Brandtology Pte Ltd – Production Intern (Translation)

The position of Production Intern requires the translation and perform quality checks on the translation of Chinese content into English. The role must provide a consistently high standard of translation quality and the work must be completed within defined time-frames. The duties are: 

Duties

• Learn and understand the processes of media monitoring;
• Translate media data in Chinese into English and ensure that translations are completed on time and to a high standard of quality;
• Quality check English translations of articles in Chinese and timely completion of QC as scheduled;
• Quality check and translation must include the following:
  • No grammar & spelling errors
  • Translation is clear, concise, free of typographical errors and conform to the styleguide
  • No factual errors
• Clearly communicates & escalates work issues that arise; and
• Perform other translation tasks to support key projects.

Requirements

• Technical Skills: Excellent reading comprehension, writing and editing skills in Business English.
• Technology Skills: Advanced competency in Microsoft Office applications, GSuite and other analysis tools.
