Insect Feed Technologies – Insect Farm Operations Associate

The position will help with the Black Soldier Fly Farm Operations and interfaces with the R&D, Business Development and Corporate Finance team to trial and develop new capabilities in insect breeding. By incorporating new technologies into this field, and coordinating with internal teams, Insect Feed Technologies is committed to building the next generation of insect farms for animal feed, leveraging on technology to ensure food security for Singapore.

Specific Responsibilities

• Learn and use equipment/automation in Black Soldier Fly insect farming
• Understand current processes (i.e. larvae nutrition, breeding and harvesting methods, climate control) and assist in collecting data on regular basis
• Collate, analyse and evaluate data collected and provide farm operation reports
• Propose improvements to current farm operations and implement new technologies to improve productivity and plan for commercialization
• Facilitate the onboarding of new workers
