1. Role Description

Essence of the role

The HR & Finance Executive will be required to support the HR Manager & Finance Manager.

HR Portfolio:

  • Be responsible for driving recruitment through various mediums, newspapers, online etc
  • Being actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process
  • Manage a full cycle of recruitment activities from candidates sourcing, interviews, offer managements to on boarding arrangements
  • Explore and examine potential recruitment channels for effective hiring
  • Develop and maintain strong relationship with candidates
  • Preparation of employment contracts.
  • Explanation in detail and orientation of company rules and job roles & responsibilities.
  • Keeping track of staff’s, leaves and offs
  • Planning with operations manager to schedule staffs for WSQ trainings
  • Handling of staffs’ payroll
  • Recording of staffs’ reimbursements if any
  • Working closely with employment agencies
  • Be familiar with MOM rules & regulations and foreign worker application processes
  • All foreign workers administrative matters, medical check-ups, lodging registration, MOM appointments etc

Finance Portfolio:

  • More in supporting Finance Manager in accounting reports
  • Assist with the migration of old accounting system to our new MYOB accounting system
  • Connecting with our Virtual Assistant in Philippines and work closely on Accounting task together.

2. Requirement

To be successful in this role we will need someone who takes pride in being organized and reliable, who is self-managed and able to prioritize tasks and respecting strict deadlines with thoroughness. Furthermore, you are able to maintain and act on both long-term projects and short-term tasks. 

We believe the right candidate will have the following experiences and competencies:

- Min. 1 - 3 Years HR Manager in SME of not less than 30 staff’s strength 

- Good understanding of Foreign Employment policies by MOM

- Good judge of character

- Good communication skills

- Familiar with WSQ, Skills future, and other training/re-skilling staffs courses

- Ability to organized and come up with good work processes

- Have Accounting Background or experience will be a plus.

- Review work orders to ensure that assignments are completed timely
