Job Description

Carry out the preparation of dishes and ingredients, cook menu dishes and ensure food served to guests is consistent and of great quality.

1. Prepare and execute menu dishes to the highest standards
2. Carry out daily kitchen preparation which includes, but not limited to,
- Wash, peel and/or cut a variety of vegetables and fruits
- Clean and cut a variety of meats and seafood
- Cook ramen broth
- Prepare sauces and condiments
- Prepare all other ingredients and menu dishes
3. Carry out daily general kitchen duties which include, but not limited to,
- Setting up and cleaning of kitchen equipment
- Dishwashing
- Cleaning of kitchen surfaces, floors and storage areas
- Trash disposal
4. Organize and ensure the kitchen is clean and tidy in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards.
5. Receive and check food deliveries to ensure they meet purchasing requirements
6. Assist the team in maintaining healthy costing through efficient purchasing and consumption of stock
7. Handle all kitchen equipment properly and ensure they are kept in good working condition
8. Support the team in recipe development; planning and creation of new dishes
9. Ensure food hygiene and safety standards are strictly adhered to daily
10. Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and grooming
11. Render assistance to service team which may be short-handed when own operation permits
12. Any other duties as assigned by the Chef

Requirements
• At least 6 months to 1 year of kitchen experience is preferred
• Able to work 6 days per week (48 to 54 hours per week)
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to multi-task and handle the pressure
• Ability to work well in a team and independently
• Possess a good working attitude and willingness to learn and advance

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $1,800.00 to $2,000.00 /month
