Aims/Objectives:
- Be part of DMI team to perform data analytics for strategic analysis and internal business review
- Though data study and understanding, identify potential improvements in data accuracy, processes and
- policy management for ERP, CRM and database software
- Recommend and help establish pricing and discounting framework to ensure compliance with established guidelines, policies and procedures
Project requirements overview:
- Strong analytical skills
- Able to use formulas. equations and logic to conceptualize solution models
- Takes initiative to gain in-depth understanding of business data and intelligence needs
- Project management experience. Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills (Formulas, Conditional Formatting, Pivot Tables, Macros etc.)
Phase(s) or major tasks which interns will be involved:
- Involved in improving data accuracy and processes for ERP, CRM and database software. This involves understanding data and how the data are used. Supporting and improvement of data accuracy and processes are essential to optimize business operations.
- Introduced to current data challenges. Through understanding of data, policies and processes, intern will be able to recommend improvement of data accuracy or develop new processes.
- Help set up pricing and discounting framework to ensure compliance with established guidelines, policies and procedures.
- Data analytics and reports
- Data review, gathering, cleansing. processing, cross-check for accuracy
- Implement policies on data
- Identify potential system data accuracy and process improvements
- Follow up with stakeholders on assigned tasks
Experience, qualification & competencies required
- Recognized Degree in Mathematics. Statistics. Accountancy, Business Engineering, IT or related fields
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Formulas, Conditional Formatting. Pivot Tables, Macros etc.) and data management
