Established in 2016, Hmlet is a tech coliving company. We offer rooms and full apartments for rent in the heart of the city. We are on a mission to simplify housing for people from all around the world relocating to or living in Singapore and Tokyo.
We have just raised our first Seed round of 1,5M USD and are going through our fastest growth expansion phase so far. We plan to double our membership base in the next few months and can use some help!
About the product: our basic premise is to offer rooms for rent in serviced shared flats - what happens on top of that is Coliving |-> the special sauce we put together to make every one of our member-tenants enjoy their homes at the fullest

Your role at Hmlet will consist of assisting our head of Design in delivering over 200 rooms, micro-coworking spaces, roof-tops, communal areas (kitchen, living, pantries) across multiple building types including whole Condos buildings, Condo flats, Shophouses, Semi-detached and landed properties - and locations in Singapore (CBD, East and West)
We are seeking a graduate or soon graduate to join our team of fast-paced, game changing professionals set on a course of changing the way we think of housing.
We are looking for:
- Strong space planning and conceptualisation sketching and design development skills
- A genuine care for detail
- Tested resilience, will power and thoroughness - you will be sourcing / negotiating and project managing construction partners
- Broad understanding of construction techniques materials and detailing
- Solid competency in the use of AutoCAD - Sketch Up and Photoshop
- Self-motivated and comfortable / excited to be working in a startup context
