Job Description
IT Intern
Responsibilities and Expectations:
As a member of the IT team, you play a role in assisting the IT Teams in supporting IT systems and infrastructure.
- Assist in manage and optimize our System Hardware and Software, eg. Microsoft 365, Cyber Security Awareness system, Endpoints Management system, Cloud Backup system etc.
- Assist in Level 1 support for End-User Computing devices.
- Assist in IT Incident/problem management.
- Assist in liaise with IT vendors for purchasing and root cause analysis.
- Assist to ensure relevance and compliance of our Group IT System Infrastructure Policy and Standards.
- Assist in maintaining and updating the documentations including IT inventory, IT asset tagging, review and contribute the monthly reports etc.
Capabilities and Characteristics
- Fluent and confident communicator in English, able to provide clear and concise documentation, reporting, and guidance.
- Mature, reliable, and effective in relating to colleagues from all walks of life.
- Keen and self-driven learner, open-minded, keeps abreast of new technologies and best practises.
- Strong in conducting independent research.
- Good interpersonal, written and oral communication skill.
- Candidate must be comfortable with travelling (50% of the time will be stationed at Taman Jurong, 50% at Commonwealth)
