Job Description

We are looking for a Business Development and Marketing Intern to assist in agency pitches of focused and integrated disciplines, as well as to provide strategic and executional support for the marketing of the agency.

Your primary responsibilities will include:
Being a key support for incoming new business enquiries
Assisting the Business Lead in pitch management which includes

  • being the key liaison person for internal business units involved in the pitches
  • managing pitch timelines and checkpoints
  • supporting in logistics needed for pitch theatrics
  • developing pitch documentation where required
  • following up on agency-client communication in relation to pitch arrangements

Responsible for internal new business pipeline updating and administration across the agency via our proprietary platforms.

Assisting in marketing initiatives of the agency, including the planning and implementation of the annual marketing plan and related activities.

Any other new business-related project as required.

 

Job Requirements:

Direct experience of agency pitching and/or client management preferred.
A good command of English (spoken & written) is essential.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Strong computer knowledge for both MAC and PC environments; proficiency in MS Powerpoint, Office, Excel & Keynote is necessary
Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects & Premiere Pro is a bonus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Passionate about the advertising and agency business and up to date on key developments
Exercises sound judgment in establishing priorities and meeting deadlines
Manages time efficiently and is able to handle multiple tasks at the same time
Has a sense of urgency – demonstrates ability to get things done
Strong attention to detail/follow through
Exhibits positive attitude and works well under pressure
Self-starter who is able to work with minimum supervision but at the same time is a team-player
