About this Role:
The Tech Intern will be responsible for writing effective & scalable code, developing optimization modules to improve responsiveness and overall performance as well as integrating user-facing elements into new and/or existing products. This role could be full time / part time internship based on your availability.
Role Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Tech Intern to join our Tech team. You will get the chance to learn more about the tech recruitment space and you will have exciting opportunities to work with multiple stakeholders in a startup!
You will be expected to:
- Develop a deep understanding of the business we are in, our customer segments, revenue channels, and fluctuations in the market that drive or impede our business
- Produce fully functional features by writing clean and scalable code, by using industry-recommended software engineering practices
- Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions
- Design interfaces to improve user experience
- Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions and troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance
- Coordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions for various tasks
- Document business and technical workflows and requirements
What we look for:
- Good knowledge in at least one popular Python framework (like Django or Flask)
- Knowledge of object-relational mapping (ORM)
- Understanding of machine-learning and operations research
- Analytical mind with a sense of business acumen
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
