The primary focus of the role is digital marketing and brand communications; including supporting management in a wide range of business operations, ranging from events, liaising with external vendors, to meeting logistics.
Duties:
Marketing/Communication
- Create and manage content for Linkedin page posts
- Engage and build up GTRV’s community through mailer lists and email blasts
- Engage and build up marketing and public relations for GTRV and portfolio companies
- Regularly update and maintain the company website using WordPress
- Write stakeholder-focused content for the website
Events/Operations
- Maintain all business documentation – including stakeholder factsheets, conference calendars, and meeting minutes
- Scheduling and taking part in business meetings with potential and existing investors, banks, startups, and fintech/technology companies
- Program management and coordination for operational activities, especially GTRV’s events and networking drinks
- Attend networking conferences and seminars organised by business partners

Technical skills
- Interest and understanding of financial, fintech, venture capital and trade finance markets or the ability to pick up financial lingo/jargon fast
- Mail chimp, Event brite, Linkedin, WordPress, Wix, Slack, Trello, Canva
- Ability to take good photographs and videos and possess skills in Adobe Photoshop/Adobe Illustrator or good visual photo editing skills
- Intern must bring his/her own MACBOOK or PC Laptop
