Job Description

As a Marketing Communications Intern, your primary role will include: 

  • Conceptualising and designing marketing collaterals; 
  • Brainstorming, creating and executing digital marketing and content creation, particularly for our website; 
  • Monitor performance of engagement campaigns and programs 
  • Managing company's social media profiles and presence; and 
  • Coordinating competitive and market research.

In addition, as part of a green startup, you will be exposed to a wide range of tasks including: 

  • Facilitating cleanups, workshops, and other activities for clients (i.e. both corporates and schools); 
  • Preparing for and attend meetings with stakeholders in the public, private and people sectors; 
  • Developing expertise in sustainability practices and behavioural science;
  • Helping out in the implementation and execution of ongoing events, including but not limited to cleanups, workshops, learning journeys and events, with varying roles such as taking charge of logistics, equipment or timelines; and 

Minimum Requirements 

  • We’re looking for someone who isn’t only passionate about the environment, but: is detail-oriented; 
  • Is able to commit for at least 3 months, starting Jan 2021 (full-time interns preferred)
  • Has a keen interest in branding and marketing; 
  • Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills; 
  • Is able to work independently and in a team;
  • Doesn’t mind working in both indoors and outdoors; 
  • Is comfortable with working on certain weekends to assist in events and; 
  • Is responsible for your own learning process and development

Bonus points if you… 

  • Are studying/have studied Environmental Science 
  • Are proficient in the Adobe suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) 
  • Have prior marketing or social media management experience

Internship renumeration: $800 monthly
