Legal & Compliance Intern *Urgent*
LEGAL AND COMPLIANCE (x3 positions available)
The scope of your role will include but not limited to:
Key Responsibilities:
- Map regulatory and internal requirements to relevant business units
- Validate and document of mitigating controls for requirements
- Assist to sort and document legal agreements
- Support the team in identifying and documenting key regulatory obligation
- Opportunity to learn data privacy and data retention requirements
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
Ideally, candidate should possess the following:
- Preferably a background in the fields of Law, Business (Risk Management & Insurance), Banking & Finance, Legal studies or any equivalent studies
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
- Meticulous and possess initiative
- Complex problem-solving skills
- Able to multi-task and work independently with minimum supervision
*Interns will be attached to participating host insurance companies and not GIA. Host company and more detailed JDs will be disclosed to you once shortlisted
