Job Description

Actuarial & Product Development Intern *Urgent*


ACTUARIAL & PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT(x7 positions available) 

The scope of your role will include but not limited to:

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Support monthly actuarial reporting across all valuation basis
  • Participate in automation projects that help streamline actuarial workflow
  • Provide assistance in ensuring control activities are in place for identified key risks for stakeholders
  • Improve efficiency and accuracy of Actuarial workflow processes

Requirements: 

Ideally, candidate should possess the following:

  • Preferably but not limited to a background in the fields of Actuarial Science, Business (Risk Management & Insurance), Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or any equivalent studies
  • Proficient in SAS, R, Power BI and Excel (incl. VBA) is ideal
  • Possess Actuarial technical knowledge
  • Strong analytical and logical skills
  • Meticulous and keen eye to details
  • Outcome focused 

*Interns will be attached to participating host insurance companies and not GIA. Host company and more detailed JDs will be disclosed to you once shortlisted
