Job Description

General Assembly is seeking a 3 to 6-month Operations Intern in Singapore

The Role

As the Operations Intern, you will work closely with our Career Coaches in optimizing stronger employer partnerships to further increase the pipeline of job placements for our GA graduates. You will also be assisting in generating key contacts with our Production team, and create Networking events for our students to participate in. This is a role for a motivated team player who wants to be part of a fast-paced, growing educational community. 

This will be a good training ground for someone who is looking to hone their business development skills and to further expand their knowledge in the Tech Industry. In this role, we also want someone who will take pride in being a part of a team that continues to motivate our GA graduates in their pursuit of finding a role in tech.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to) the following: 

  • Sourcing for the latest opportunities in Software Engineering, Data Science, Digital Marketing and UX Design.
  • Identifying companies and key contacts for partnerships and hiring opportunities.
  • Contributing your creativity in revamping our Alumni booklet and coming up with new ways on how we can present our talent to various companies and hiring managers.
  • Assist in developing region-specific and culturally relevant coaching resources such as worksheets, tips & tricks, best practices guides.
  • Support with administrative tasks across different departments such as data entry, organization of documents, event scheduling etc.

 

Skills & Qualifications:

  • You are highly organized: When it comes to workflow, you take pride in your organization skills
  • You are data driven and comfortable with spreadsheets, Excel functions and basic data analysis
  • You have excellent writing skills and comfortable with creating persuasive messages and pitches 
  • You have excellent communication skills and able to adapt your skills to different stakeholders
  • You are familiar and can easily find your way around the Google Workspace environment
  • You maintain a positive and professional demeanor, even under stressful situations
  • You have the ability to multitask and coordinate multiple projects at once
  • You have a passion for education and creating an impact in people’s lives
