Job Description
  • Understand the existing business processes, the key drivers and measurement for the business, and the short- and long-term direction of the business and related technologies.
  • Develop, write, and communicate business requirements and functional specifications for the implementation of business solutions.
  • Select and implement suitable technology and systems to streamline all internal operations and help optimize their strategic benefits.
  • Plan the implementation and implement new systems and provide guidance to the leadership team and other staff within the organization.
  • Design and customize technological systems and platforms to improve the internal business process and external customer experience.
  • Assess department and customer data utilizing a structured requirements process (gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing changes) to assist in identifying business priorities and advice on options.
  • Ensure that all development and/or corrective software has been fully tested and documented. All testing and documentation are conducted following current departmental standards and procedures.
  • Monitor changes or advancements in technology to discover ways the company can gain competitive advantages.
  • Analyze the costs, value, and risks of information technology to advise management and suggest actions.
  • Establish and maintain a liaison relationship with business partners and IT organizations in order to provide effective technical solutions.
