Role Description
This position reports to the Commercial Controlling Manager and interfaces with Organisation managers and staff from various departments. Specific Responsibilities
Individual to be involved in:
- BG Commercial Controlling
- Understanding and interpreting opco’s commercial and financial results as well as other key KPI’s, driving business performance to ensure Business Group (BG) target delivery
- Management Business Review (MBR) involvement of select Asia Opcos
- Responsible for on time in full financial integral BG reporting activities of selected Opcos
2. Marketing and Innovation controlling (IFT Category)
- Review and control marketing A&P budget: SG&A + A&P (SG)
- Support marketing and BG finance team with (regional) business cases
- Assist in innovation controlling (innovation rate); actively monitor BG innovation portfolio; ensure accurate tracking of business cases and ensure deviations are reported and acted upon
3. Other responsibilities
- Ad-hoc support in projects across Asia
- Participation in BG CD and corporate commercial finance projects
- Support to BG Finance Director in MBR and Budget preparation
Technical Skills and Competencies
- Active participation in strategic planning and reporting processes
- Learn to engage employees and stakeholders professionally
- Gain commercial review experience with hands-on participation in month-end close process and ad-hoc project analysis.
