Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Handling orders by phone/email and checking that orders have the correct prices and product information.
  • Handling urgent calls, emails and messages when the Sales representatives are unavailable, answering customer queries, informing them of delays, arranging delivery dates and addressing customer complaints.
  • Inputting orders, ensuring they are processed according to customer requirements and ensuring all orders are accurate and delivered on time.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure sales, marketing, operation queries and deliveries are handled efficiently.
  • Maintenance and record keeping of quotations, sales records and RTVs.
  • Maintain a strong understanding about product inventory, features and specifications to answer specific customer questions.
  • Participate in department meetings and provide information to facilitate the planning of resources towards order fulfilment.
  • Engage and work closely with other departments to ensure that the company is able to provide our customers with a consistently good service level through the most effective and efficient processes.
  • Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills.
  • Adhere to health and safety policy, and other requirements relating to care of equipment.
  • Recording of minutes during Sales department meetings.

Requirements

  • Diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Experienced in grocery field preferred
  • Organized and meticulous with strong administrative skills
  • Good communicator with excellent customer service skills
  • Possess planning, organizing and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently and effectively as a team player
