Job Description

Consumer Sales Intern (1 July to 31 December 2020)


About the role:

Ecommerce Channel Development 

  • Build strong partnerships with the ecommerce retailers, shaping and executing an ecommerce shopping digital experience focused on optimizing successful customer engagement and conversion. 
  • Use analytic insights to influence channel development and promotion strategy decisions, identify potential revenue streams within different Ecommerce platforms
  • Work closely with both local and global marketing teams to develop a differentiated Ecommerce channel marketing and sales activation plan, based on relevant data and insights

Sales/Retail Data Analytics (Online-Offline) 

  • Work with both Trade Marketing Manager and Ecommerce Channel Development Manager to define questions to be answer- (Eg. Promotion Competitiveness Pricing Indexing, Store Growth Potential by Type) 
  • Develop Framework/Platform to help address questions on a comparable and consistent manner
  • Develop actionable task with key stakeholders to drive result optimization

Key Skills & Attitude:

  • Business, Marketing or Economics preferably with Analytics major
  • Familiarity with social media strategies and platforms
  • Positive and enthusiastic team player who can collaborate across cultures
  • Self-motivated and works well in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multi-task and take initiative
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Extracurricular activities that demonstrate ability to manage a project relatively autonomously to completion
  • Some experience with data visualization tools (e.g.Tableau) will be a strong advantage
  • Able to confidently apply, interpret & translate statistical analyses into compelling and actionable recommendations
  • Able to speak and write fluent English, Bonus – Mandarin
